I'm not positive but I think they have sidewalk dining. Best Italian in town.
Fridays open 11am -2pm for lunch, 4pm-10pm for dinner
Love this place! They treat us so well when we come! Great food, great service, and great owners!
Great Italian food. Great waitress and nice seating.
Charming Authentic Italian Family serving each dish with a dash of love. Server was superb, very attentive. Food was plentiful and amazing! Owner very caring, makes you feel like your family. Many Thanks to Eva and Louie B. For sending me to Salute!
Ordered a pizza and garlic bread. Both were delicious... garlic bread actually tasted like garlic bread, some other places I've tried around here did not. There are 2 spaces in front of the restaurant marked for takeout orders from Salute. Not sure when they will open up for dining in.
The best food, the best people, the best wine this side of Heaven! Love the owners!!!,
AWSOME AS ALWAYS!
The chicken marsala and calamari is amazing here. A bit louder than I prefer, but still a comfortable place to eat with great food, beverage and wine selection, along with a shot of Sambuca for everyone at the end of the meal. Absolutely loved our time here and will definitely go again in the future~
Delicious food. Considerate friendly personnel. You will not regret it!!
Delicious Lasagna. Everyone else seemed to be enjoying their entrees, too. They have Calzones, pizza, steak dinner and a nice variety of Italian cooking.
Lasagna is AMAZING! Our first visit & we will definitely be back. Good prices and portions are huge!
Great authentic food and very friendly staff!
Can’t go wrong with salute! Great Italian food and I really enjoy the free bread they give you
Me and my boyfriend came from Illinois to spend the weekend in Racine for our 2 year anniversary and decided to spend our anniversary dinner here. This restaurant is amazing! The food was SO GOOD from the bread to the garlic knots (which I highly recommend) to the entree and finally the dessert. The cheesecake was AMAZING!! Please please please try the cheesecake. It was definitely homemade and one of the best I’ve ever had. If you are in the areas you NEED to go to Salute. It can be casual or dressy. The atmosphere was very relaxing and romantic and the workers were so kind. Our waitress even gave us one of our (amazing) cheesecakes for free for our anniversary. I recommend this to anyone that likes good food.
I'm in town from Las Vegas and my family and I didn't realize we were getting a great dinner and a comedy show. Nico cracked me up!! Thank you Salutes!! 🙏❤️👏👏👏👏👍
Love the atmosphere. Good people very and helpful. Very delicious meals!
Pizza flame but I feel like they don’t like the color of my skin the questions I gottah answer just to get a pizza is crazy pizza very affordable but it’s not for my kind I’m kinda scared I feel like they a drop my pizza on the floor or take turns spitting on it
Very nice resturant. Good home made food. Service is typically very good. Warm bread, great food options. Sambuca shots. Vegetarian offerings ...and multiple dessert offerings. Full bar. Warm and open atmosphere. Italian food. Multiple sauce type options. Ravioli was very good.
Great Italian food....great atmosphere..and friendly staff..I'm going back again with my family..
Great food, lovely music with wonderful staff!
Great restaurant! Friend said to check it out. Definitely great authentic food. It's not modern dining but that's what makes it great as well. Orders didn't take long. The large menu makes it hard to choose from but a minor complaint. The service is nice. Also glad to see the owner sits out in the open to interact with the guest. My only problem is the tradition to serve you a shot of Sambuca at the end of your meal. Nice tradition but not a fan of that black licorice taste lol!
Far and above the best restaurant in Racine. The food is amazing and you will be full when you leave. The staff is very helpful and willing to help accommodate and special requests. The price cannot be beat and a must for anyone who likes Italian food.
Excellent freshly made Italian fare. Favorites are the lasagna, grilled chicken rigatoni and ravioli. Friendly waitstaff, owners onsite. Good value, quality, service and nicely decorated.
Food was great..atmosphere was great bit took.a lil time to figure that. . I love to flirt and have fun l.
It was worth every dime! Excellent service and the food was authentic Italian food.I will be back again!
My wife and I stopped for Italian and I was pleasantly delighted with Salute. From our server, wine, pasta and dessert all hit the markWill definitely visit again when not feeling like cooking Italian myself. Great family ambience will definitely recomended to clients.
Absolutely wonderful people and amazing Italian food! Put this place on your list!
The food here was amazing & the service was great. Super friendly staff! Highly recommend
I cant believe I never went here before! I've been there now 3 times and i love it. The food is homemade (even the noodles), the sauces are delicious, and I've yet to have bad service. Did I mention fresh baked bread?? The prices compare to olive garden, but this food is actually worth the prices.
Excellent freshly made Italian fare. Favorites are the lasagna, grilled chicken rigatoni and ravioli. Friendly waitstaff, owners onsite. Good value, quality, service and nicely decorated.
The food and staff are excellent. Their owner and management couldn't be friendlier. It really is one of the best restaurants I'e been to!
We were staying in Racine and commuting to Madison for a Quilt Expo. We went to Salute on a Thursday night and had a wonderful evening. It was a whole experience!!! Everyone loved their meal choices. The lasagna is a huge portion. (Actually all of the portions were generous). We had some amazing drinks, although I cannot remember what they were called. (Island Paradise or something, a little diff version of a Long Island Iced Tea). We really enjoyed our sambuca shot with our waitress!
Been going there for years and it's better than ever! Fantastic meat ravioli and lasanga! Great service and clean environment. Definitely coming back again!
Horrible customer service!! My order was messed up and first person I spoke with said the salad I ordered they don’t even carry and the second person said they do and she messed it up. Yet I was expected to come back in for a credit to use there. I absolutely should have been reimbursed and the food that they did get right was terrible!!! Would not recommend!!!
Absolutely the best Italian restaurant in the area! Food is great and the atmosphere is fantastic!
The food was beyond delicious. The wait time from table to pay bill time was 2 1/2 hours. Way to long. We have eaten there many times & never had to wait like that. They said a server didn't come in but we were there at 5:30pm Tuesday & people who came in later than us, were getting their food before us. Parking is terrible on main Street But we would definitely go back.
Visit weekly and love the atmosphere and the food! Staff and patron alike are great people with great backgrounds and stories. No TV's and just music playing! I love it!
Always welcoming ace to go. Homemade pastas are amazing.
We were in the Racine area from Chicago and decided to make a stop after reading all the good reviews. We ordered a Vegetarian pizza and Tortellini in Vodka Sauce. Our Italian speaking waiter, who had an extremely enthusiastic persona (he went out of his way to make our dinner a memorable one) coaxed us into trying the Tomato Bisque soup which was flavorful with it’s subtle creaminess, perfect for a cold winter night! It’s a family run restaurant with such a polite staff, I will def come again when I am in racine area again to try more items on the menu. (Also just for the exceptional service we received by our waiter 😊)
Fun time. Happening place. Had to have angel hair pasta because they were out if spaghetti. That is why the 4 instead of 5 stars. Will go back.
Yummy food, good service, can be crowded
Some of the best Italian food I've ever eaten! Friendly, family atmosphere and staff. Genuinely happy and humbled that you choose their place to eat.
Mmm-mmm!!
Great Italian food. Great attentive serviceHave come here many times over the years.
I had the meat ravioli. It was outstanding. Nico, our server, was very attentive.
The special tonight was to die for! Pasta with tomatoes, mushrooms, pesto and Parmesan. It also came with chicken but I had shrimp instead. Salutes is a family friendly restaurant. Ask for an after dinner espresso with some Italian sugar.
Ambiance was nice but the service was subpar. We waited over 20 minutes for our waitress to check on us and the restaurant was only half full. I ordered the build your own pasta and it was pretty good. Angel hair pasta, creamy pesto and crumbled sausage. We also ordered jalapeno poppers and the center was cool, so they didn't fry them long enough. I had the lemon drop martini and it was delicious. My spouse had the jolly rancher and it was strong so that's a plus. My biggest gripe was the service and how long it took to get our meal and our drinks refilled. The waitress however was very friendly whenever she did come to our table
Such great food!!! Homemade pasta & sauce!!! Spectacular service as well
Loved this place food was excellent service was just as great. Highly recommend it
Best Italian food. The owners, Ida & John, are the sweetest people! We come all the way from Tennessee just to eat here.
Like a 2nd home. Warm friendly familiar faces.
